Valley Inn

Such a clean and cozy motel! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was clean. The owners are also very sweet and welcoming! I think it's awesome they live on site! I most definitely recommend Valley Inn if you are looking for an affordable place without sacrificing cleanliness or quality!

The room was very spacious for three adults and two small dogs. It was clean,.the queen beds were fairly new and comfortable. The bathroom adequate and the surrounding yard plentiful. The owners are a great couple who even checked on us during our stay. Highly recommend over the overpriced hotel in Calloway.

As of writing my review I’m finishing up my stay here. Great location and served its purpose for my visit. Close to my friend I was visiting and not far from major sites in the area. Some updates to the property could be made but nothing major. Brief run in with some palmetto bugs which is to be expected in the summer when humidity is high used to dealing with them back home too. Lovely staff and have everything I needed for my two night stay. Would stay again.

My gf, her son, my two labs (the managers are dog lovers) and I stayed for a few nights in 2013 while waiting to move into our nearby log cabin. The rooms were basic, with wi fi, extremely well-kept, comfortable and very reasonably priced. What really made our stay so enjoyable were the couple managing the Inn. You couldn't ask for better hosts. I spent hours talking, walking and just hanging out with them. They were extremely friendly and accommodating & made the stay very enjoyable.

My husband, our dog and I loved this little cozy motel! The owners were very kind and accommodating. Our room was super clean and our bed and sheets were fantastic! The AC kept us frosty cool and although the decor was dated, it added to the charm of the place. If you like going back to the 50’s-60’s when things were simple and neat, this is the right thing place with the right price! It’s proximity to Callaway Gardens and FDR National Park is perfect. Definitely will stay again.

Staying at the Valley Inn is like visiting your grandparents’ home. It feels cozy and retro and welcoming. Even though the decor and finishes are dated, the rooms are well-maintained and kept in good shape. So are the mattresses and the bedding. TVs and cable (DirectTV) are also updated. Reasonable price (usually the cheapest around). Super convenient to Poplar Place Farm (equestrian) and the sweet little town of Hamilton. Great late check-in/early check-out offerings. Wonderful, sweet couple that runs the place. Just FYI, the breakfast isn’t homemade or even a hot meal—just pastries. Overall. It’s a really great stay.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. Very accommodating. Rooms were clean, comfortable (slept so well I had to find out what mattresses they had). And their welcoming ambassador Lady was too cute. Absolutely we'll be back!

This is a very old Motel. Block walls help with the sound proofing. Room #101. No carpet in the rooms we viewed! The tiles in the bathroom look to be from the 50s, but in perfect condition. Only suggestions would be to paint some of the mismatched wood furniture to brighten the room, replace the mini blinds as they are VERY dusty and update the surge protectors on the appliances and TV. I used the dryer outlet in the bathroom for my mini keurig so as not to over power. All in all we would stay here again due to its location.
